Diwali home cleaning checklist
RIFQA Enterprises • Updated 24 October 2026
Start 10 days before Diwali
Diwali week is the busiest time for cleaning teams in Mumbai. Book your deep cleaning at least 7–10 days before so you get the slot you want, and keep the last 2 days for decoration.
Room-by-room checklist
- Living room: fans, lights, curtains, sofa, windows and grills
- Kitchen: tiles, slab, chimney, gas stove, cabinets, fridge and microwave
- Bathrooms: tiles, hard-water stains, taps and exhaust fan
- Bedrooms: wardrobes (outside and inside), bed base, side tables
- Balcony: floor, grills and plant area
- Main door, switchboards and doorbells
What to do yourself and what to book
Decluttering, sorting clothes and puja items are best done by you. Heavy jobs – kitchen degreasing, bathroom de-staining, sofa shampoo and machine floor scrubbing – are faster and safer with a professional team.
How much does it cost in Mumbai?
At RIFQA, full home deep cleaning starts at ₹3,499 for a 1 BHK, kitchen deep cleaning is ₹1,649, sofa shampoo starts at ₹399 and bathroom cleaning starts at ₹699. The price on the website is the price you pay.
