Book after the interior work is fully done
Cleaning before the carpenters and painters finish wastes money. Book when only the final cleaning is left.
Checklist
- Paint, cement and putty marks on floors, windows and switchboards
- Inside of wardrobes, kitchen cabinets and drawers
- Kitchen platform, sink and tiles
- Bathroom tiles, fittings and hard-water stains
- Window glass, sliding tracks and grills
- Balcony and utility area
- Fans, lights and doors
How long it takes
An empty 2 BHK usually takes 5–7 hours with 3 people. Very dusty new flats can take longer.
